RootBarrier® 325 is a gray root protection mesh with an extruded coating on one side. When placed with the smooth side facing the roots, the roots lose their effectiveness and are forced to grow deeper.

RootBarrier® 420 UV is a black root protection fabric with a double-sided extruded coating. The smooth coating prevents root growth, forcing it to grow downward. RootBarrier® 420 UV is based on a stronger geotextile and has a thicker coating than RootBarrier® 325 and RootBarrier® 360. Therefore, this root protection fabric is suitable for more aggressive roots, such as bamboo. RootBarrier® 420 UV is UV resistant and can be used above ground.

RootPanels® Pyramide guides roots and accommodates the tree's natural, healthy growth, preventing damage to surrounding infrastructure. The robust, conical shape forces roots to naturally grow downward and outward at a 10-degree angle.
RootBarrier® Pyramid is manufactured from strong 4mm HDPE.

RootBarrier has developed a new modular root guidance system called ® RootPanels ® Rib. These ® RootPanels ® are made of solid 2mm HDPE with vertical reinforcements to contain and guide roots in depth, avoiding the usual surface damage and allowing for good root development at depth (below the height of the panels). This eliminates the risk of the so-called "pot effect," ensuring trees have good root consistency and support.
The ® RootPanels ® can be placed linearly as well as in a circle or square shape around the trees.
RootPanels® can be bent to a 90-degree angle and have horizontal top hems that prevent any root growth or development at the surface. RootPanels® can be joined using simply a screwdriver or drill and screws.

Every 18 cm, 90° sheaths measuring 2 cm wide and 2.5 cm high force the roots to grow in depth.

Como Funciona o sistema
Os RootPanels ® são instalados verticalmente. As raízes crescem horizontalmente e refletem sobre as baínhas verticais. As baínhas de 90 graus verticais guiam as raízes para baixo, em profundidade. Quando as raízes atingem borda inferior dos RootPanels ®, saem do sistema e seguem o seu normal desenvolvimento. Se por qualquer motivo alguma raíz que cresça para cima, será interrompida pela borda superior do RootPanels ® que é dobrada em cima
